Brewing Manager

Job content

To lead challenging process development projects & initiatives with high complexity & with specialization in brewing in order to meet or exceed current and future business demands, according to agreed timelines and budget.

  • To continuously scout and identify new ideas / opportunities for the company in the fields of new processes development, aligned with company strategic pillars, working close together with Procurement, Brewing and Quality and other supply areas.
  • Promoting synergies among the different company zones in the world, integrating knowledge and support Global Innovation and Supply teams.
  • To understand consumer insights and competitors’ strategy, and to integrate this in the frame of our process development initiatives, to ensure the right decisions are taken in the benefit of the company.
  • Work in conjunction with Knowledge Centers linked to Brewing Materials (Hops, Cereals, Barley, Malting...) to  ensure that long term Strategies are in place and approved, ensure to  functional global authority experts are developed and present at global with knowledge transfer
  • Responsible to deliver key sustainability improvement projects on quality, time and within budget

Profile

  • University technical degree or equivalent (Brewing Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Biology, Agronomy ).
  • High experience in brewing and/or development areas of beverage industries (5+ years).
  • Demonstrated successful experience in management of projects of high complexity and or risk profile (product, material and process feasibility / development / implementation)
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to impact and influence to move things forward, while balancing differing ideas / agendas.
  •  Strong team player and target-oriented with respect for quality and timing.
  • Very good communicator, very good convincing skills, demonstrated ability to translate technical items into commercial concepts and vice-versa
  • Deep knowledge of MS Office environment.
